You cannot equip it, breed with it, craft with it or hand it in for a quest. Cancel the listing first.
⏳ Listings expire
A listing runs for 3 days, and posting one costs a listing fee.

This is where cross-tier breeding really happens: buy a pretty but weak mount, pair it with a strong plain one.
